ASD Certified Team Dentist Course

Are you a team dentist? Do you have athletes in your practice? Are you prepared to manage trauma?

The Academy for Sports Dentistry is providing a Sports Dentist Certification Course to encourage dentists to be prepared in the field of Sports Dentistry. There are 2 main components: preventing trauma and managing trauma. This 1.5-day course will prepare its students for both. Some topics include: the AT/DDS relationship, oral cancer screening, dental trauma prevention, dental trauma preparedness, scanning, 3D printing, mouthguard fabrication, suturing, and more!

Instructors have a combined total of over 150 years of sports dental experience covering NBA, NFL, NHL, MLS, NCAA, and high school teams. You will receive 11.25 hours of CE units.

The course will be held at Glidewell Dental Lab in Irvine, CA, February 27 & 28, 2026.
